Create a really cool marketing podcast

Most marketing internships are about marketing a product/service where you create Facebook posts or write blogs etc. We go a few steps further…or rather many steps further.

1. You will help create a marketing podcast (it’s still not launched yet but you can check the test episode here)
2. You may co-host the podcast (that’s optional)
3. You will help market the podcast
4. You may also help in marketing our other venture https://year.candidconversations.us/

And most importantly this won’t be like other podcasts-we will give real-time solutions to business or marketing problems. The entire idea is to help marketing enthusiasts to veterans-currently our podcast doesn’t have a revenue model,the idea is to just contribute but with time the goal will be to make it sustainable.

During the podcast, I will be answering business or marketing queries-from what are the right tactics for x business to how to scale a health tech startup to the right tools for Social CRM to how to live and work abroad (I live as a digital nomad in a beach town in Vietnam and you can also be living and interning from anywhere in the world) .

Your activities will include:

1. Produce a podcast-that means using AI-based tools to produce a podcast (we will be training you on those which includes writing descriptions to taglines, even trailer for the podcast)
2. Run CRM or emailer list (you need to have a gift for words and a strong interest in marketing which is demonstrated via short, snappy but contextual emailers sent to our listeners)
3. Research marketing and business stats from across the world (that means reading the top newsletter, videos, etc.)
4. Run some cool marketing campaigns on Twitter & Reddit

We want our interns to learn, so we will take out time over the weekend where we can spend more time interacting & reviewing their work.

Full-time internships:

• 5 days /week during weekdays(You can choose your day off)+ Weekend-one day spend 4–6 hrs.
• Paid : 5000–10,000/month. Depending on your responses on the application & interview
• Duration: Minimum of 2 months full-time, then you can choose to work part-time or full time for 3 more months.
• Certificate & Experience letter for those completing the duration.Plus an option to keep working with us.

Part-time internship:

• paid internship: 5 days a week around 3.5 hours/day +Weekend spend 4–6 hours. Paid: 4000 to 6,500/month +your internet and mobile costs will be covered
• unpaid internship:since we have very limited slots for part-time paid,we are opening a few more slots for unpaid internship (your internet and mobile costs will be covered). 3 days a week around 2 hours/day+Sunday spend 4–6 hours
• Duration: 5 months (including flexibility for your exams etc).
• Certificate & Experience letter for those completing this period. Plus an option to keep working with us.

Eligibility:
• Open to students across departments or years.

We are looking for interns who have these Skillsets (two or more)

• Copy: Have a gift for words.The writing has to be real, conversational & good command of grammar.
• Design: Great aesthetic sense. You don’t need to be a designer. But using Canva you should be able to create some great videos and content
• Can co-host a podcast: A great voice & screen presence
• Keen to learn marketing & digital & exploring new tools: You will be doing a lot of that from social CRM,to learning how to grow a podcast.

We work remotely not just because of Covid but even in 2012, the first company I started was a remote-first company.

This gives people flexibility, helps them save time & money, also allows them to do deep work. But we also understand this may not be for everyone.So in case you are not excited to work remotely then this job may not be for you.

• Self Driven & Honest: THIS IS CRITICAL. You will be given a goal, direction and guidance at various points, but we won’t spoon-feed and monitor you. You have your independence and have to be self-driven to get results. We are always there to support you with solutions when you get stuck. And we don’t tolerate dishonesty or lying.

In this internship you will be exposed to and learning about some of the latest business and marketing stuff that people don’t learn in the top B- Schools ( feel free to ask how many of them have launched and marketed a newsletter or multilingual podcast, learnt growth hacking or social CRM).*
